Psychology has always fascinated me, especially when it came to relationships. When I was young, I used to play matchmaker with my friends and lend a listening ear whenever they had relationship issues.
In 2014, my interest shifted towards personality typology and its significance in romantic relationships. I started attending personal development seminars and retreats in 2017, where I learned how my subconscious mind affected my life.
This newfound knowledge helped me make positive changes, but I still found relationships challenging.
I used to be trapped in a cycle of breaking up and making up in my relationships. I thought it was normal for love to be a roller coaster ride with endless ups and downs.
However, I later realized that my insecure attachment style had been passed down from my family, leading to the development of a fearful-avoidant attachment style. As a result, my adult relationships were often chaotic and tumultuous.
After experiencing one final heartbreak, I decided to break the negative cycles in my life. I took charge of my healing and focused on transforming my insecure attachment style into a secure one.
I obtained certifications in Integrated Attachment Theory, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I am currently pursuing other certifications as well.
Thanks to neuroscience, I was able to rewire my old patterns of thinking on a deep subconscious level. This allowed me to approach love and relationships with a more secure mindset.
I went from being a fearful-avoidant to becoming secure and finally understood what a healthy relationship with a secure partner should look like.
I gained clarity on what I wanted, became confident, and learned to show up as the most authentic version of myself. I understood the power of vulnerability, setting healthy boundaries, and being interdependent.
I stopped personalizing people's behaviors and went from feeling stuck and frustrated to being more in control of my thoughts, feelings, and actions.
I stopped settling for emotionally unavailable, smothering, or growth-resistant partners. Healing my attachment style meant I could create a relationship rooted in confidence, free from insecurities.
Over the recent years, I've helped numerous people learn about their personality and attachment style and work to heal.
